The dragonfly shows the most elaborate and expensive type of die we offer. It is a two-part die and mold setup, which cuts and forms a part in a single press operation. This consists of a cutting de with a forming module attached, same as the one step cut/form feather and balloon, but with the addition of a solid mold that the part is formed into. This approach helps with designs that need more support for cutting, than what is given by a urethane pad. Using a solid mold also increases the amount of forming that can be achieved, over what can be done with urethane at a given pressure.
